Setting it up and putting in it was straightforward and quick. My only grievance to this point, and it hasn't been a problem but, is the somewhat brief (6') cable that joins the player unit to the 2ndary display. The different problem is that there isn't any inside power, and no solution to power it as hostile to residence or a car (meaning, it isn't useful on an airplane, until you be prepared to get a seat with an influence jack).

After the 2nd use these devices stopped functioning. Just stopped spinning up the disc and says Phillips Loading. Naturally this was once found out as we're half-hour right into a 4.5 hour street travel. 10-15 days for a replacement does not fix it. Rest of the commute I heard, "Daddy restore it."

After waithing three weeks, I called in to check on the standing, and so they by no implys generated the request to ship the replacement! Now they're telling me 3-4 weeks on prime of the various weeks I already have not had it. If I may alternate the rating to 1 famous person, that additionally would not be high enough.

Adding insult to injury... the alternative was as quickly as obtained, so much quicker than acknowledged. Kudos. However, they sent an previouser version, which has even worse reviews than this present version. AND... considering that it's a refurb, it handiest has a ninety day warranty. This isn't a product you utilize incessantly, and I most probably cannot comprehend that it has failed till we take a seat within the car for the next long go again and forth.

I contacted Philips in regards to the older version being acquired, and bought a friendly CSR, Dwayne. He completely agreed with me, and did everything in his energy to get the difficulty resolved, and escalated up the tiers. I got a call again and they stated that that is their coverage to exchange with a similar variation. I informed the supervisor that this is a more price-effective edition, my unit failed after one use and this used to be utterly unacceptable.
