I eliminated the manufacturing unit headrests and installed these and the children are happy to have their own DVD player.
HOWEVER, to be in a position to install these, I needed to open each up and re-wire the ability traces - to include soldering. Each headrest reinforce post has a collection of wires popping out of them and one had an enter connector that I knew would not be used. I removed them totally. I recently saw an identical product for less at Sam's membership, so you may just wish to check that out. Otherwise, this was $120 lower than Walmart and has additional function of looking at two totally different discs at the related time (majority of merchandise on the market have one DVD player and one 'dummy' reveal - that could be a catastrophe for my kids as they're about 6 years apart in age and do not wish to watch the related movies). Picture is superb, product is simple to function and install. The most effective problem we had with it's that IR headsets are of actually poor quality, so we are using regular, wired ones. The more thing is that we don't like is that the headrests aren't adjustable.
